Nearly completed lvl 12 of GTA3 Paramedic side mission

I'm on Staunton smashing out all the side missions before continuing the story. Been sitting on the Paramedic mission for days. Finally tonight I just mastered it. Figured out the traffic AI, grabbing fartherest patients first, closest last. i was going so well. Always pausing and planning well ahead. Avoiding construction zone. Only got 4 there in total anyway!

Then, as I pick up my 2nd patient on level 12, I accidentally press exit vehicle button when pausing to check the map.
