Do I start right? (Beginner questions)

Hey Guys! As a complete beginner I just watched a ton of YouTube to find all informations I need. But most of the videos are around one year or older. So I'm not sure if all this is still viable and I have still some questions left.

  1. First Step
  • Radio: Radiomaster Pocket/Boxer/TX15 (Got me one)

  • Simulator: LiftOff, LiftOff: Micro Drones, Uncrashed, Tryp FPV, Velocidrone,... (Got me LiftOff and Micro Drones)

After I'm comfortable flying in the Sim, I'll get me an actual drone, Goggles and anything I need. For that most videos recommend the following:

Analog

Baseline: -Radiomaster Pocket/Boxer/TX15 -Eachine EV800D -VIFLY WhoopStor V3

Setup 1: -BetaFPV Air65/Meteor65 -BetaFPV Lava 300mah 75c LiPo

Setup 2: -BetaFPV Air75/Meteor75 -BetaFPV Lava 550mah 75c LiPo

If this is still viable/best option to start with, I'll tend to go with setup 2. But I'm not sure which whoop I should choose in the long run. Air75 or Meteor75?

Then there is the Digital side of things where they recommend whoops like the Femto, Pico, Pavo20 Pro, Darkstar 22 and so on.

If I know for sure that I wanna go for FPV as a hobby, is it better to go straight to Digital to save some money, or is it worth to start with tiny whoops and analog and later advance to Digital?

Bonusquestion: why do I have to charge Batteries to Storage voltage? And do they get damaged if I'll don't use them for a month?

Thanks in advance!
