Will I REALLY regret not purchasing the AMS Lite with a Bambu Lab A1?

First printer, I'm a student so budget is relatively low. Really fascinated with the A1 so far. However, purchasing the combo (even with Black Friday pricing) is a bit above budget. I mostly plan to use the printer for decorative/practical stuff, with SLIGHT engineering uses (simple brackets and other knick-knacks).

I read that the AMS lite really only goes on sale a couple times a year, namely Black Friday and in June. I'm basically wondering if I should bite the bullet now and cry about money, or if you guys think I'll be fine messing around with the basic A1 until I can get my hands on the AMS lite in 6 months.
