Baby name initials

My husband and I agree on the name Blaire for our baby girl. My top name for years has been Kit, however, my husband was not on board as he thinks it’s too “nickname-y”. I don’t like Katherine as a first name. We agree on Blaire Katherine and if we really feel like the nickname Kit suites her, we will use it.

Her initials will be BKA. I’m a nurse, and this does bug me a bit, as I use this abbreviation on a daily basis at work. Should we choose the spelling “Catherine” instead? I prefer the look of the name with a “K” and feel like it makes Kit a little bit more appropriate as a nickname, as a nickname based off of the middle name seems like a reach already.
