Late period but I'm probably perimenopausal/weight-loss?
Also I've been dieting and exercising for the past for months and have lost weight. I don't think my calorie cut is too aggressive and I think my weight-loss is gradual. However I realize all that combined with life stress could be causing my delay.
I looked at my tracker last week and thought I was actually already a week late but it was my apps miscalculation. I did take a pregnancy test at that time and it was negative but now I'm almost 10 days late still. Also my tubes are tied so the chances of pregnancy are low. I had all the symptoms of my period coming and they just stopped as of today.
I did have a skipped period almost 2 years ago my doctor thought it could be overgrowth of strep c bc that's the only thing that came back positive. I don't feel any symptoms that could be infection.
I guess my question is how long do I wait if the explanation is just my weight-loss? Should I just events cycle back around. I know if I call the doctor they will have me come in bc they never like to answer questions like that without an appointment.
