Hotel cleaning (possible crime scene)

Hey, so I've always been bothered by this, and I'm not much of a storyteller.

I was a cleaner for a Holiday Inn Express hotel. One day, I had a room where it smelled rotten, and there was a rust-colored liquid sprayed all over the room. Some parts were still dark red, and there was a smell of dog fur all over the room. I told my manager, and she made us all clean up the blood from everywhere, scrubbing picture frames, walls, the TV, and behind the TV. It was a lot, and I just hope to this day we didn't cover up a potential murder, be it of a dog or human.
