Snake Orb

Does anyone have any info on this fab snake orb pendant? I know that somebody posted a pic of their collection here a couple of weeks ago and they had one, prior to this I'd never seen one of these pieces. There's now one for sale on eBay, seems to be attracting top dollar. It would be good to know when and where it was released.
