The biggest mistake I see with AI marketing tools (and what we're building instead)
I've been working on a marketing platform for agencies, and I've noticed something that keeps coming up: most AI marketing tools treat every client like a blank slate.
You know the drill - you paste in a prompt, get some copy, maybe tweak it, and move on. But here's the thing: the real value isn't in generating content—it's in remembering context.
The Problem:
- Every campaign starts from scratch
- No memory of what worked (or didn't) for this specific client
- No understanding of brand voice that improves over time
- Scattered data across tools (reviews, ad performance, research)
What We're Building: Instead of another content generator, we're creating a "living memory" system that:
- Learns each client - Brand tone, offer types, customer psychology, what converts
- Continuously researches - Auto-updates with reviews, competitor analysis, market sentiment
- Gets smarter over time - Every campaign references past learnings
Think of it like ChatGPT, but trained ONLY on each client's unique DNA. The first campaign is good, but by campaign #10, it knows exactly what resonates.
The Magic Triangle:
- Memory → Learns each client like an internal strategist
- Research → Continuously updates context with real data
- Creation → Generates finished campaigns faster than any team
Question for the community: If you're managing multiple clients, what's the biggest pain point? Is it:
- Keeping track of what messaging works for each client?
- Maintaining brand consistency across campaigns?
- Onboarding new clients and understanding their market quickly?
- Something else entirely?
We're in early beta with 21 clients across 3 agencies, and I'd love to hear what resonates (or doesn't) with your workflow.
