Looking for laptop suggestions!

hi! i was looking for suggestions for a laptop for christmas! my mom is getting me one and i want one that i can play games on and use for school that’s like.. less than a thousand ideally. i really enjoy games like the sims and cozy games like that, but i also really want to play fallout and mouthwashing and other games that might take a bit more to run. any suggestions are greatly appreciated! thanks in advance! i don’t know a whole lot about laptop stuff but i would really like to learn!
