Weight loss struggles & New Years pressure

Advice: Seeking ❓

Like every typical teenage girl I struggled hard with food and body image. I used to binge and restrict and hates myself for it but ultimately hated my body more. I was then told by doctors to fix my hormones as I was "having issues" to go on a STRICT 20 carb defecit. I lost 12.5kg in 2 months. I loved that I was thinner but hated the restriction. It felt like a doctor mandated eating disorder pushed onto me by medical professionals and enforced by family. I stopped that when I got concerned for my mental health and started going to the gym. I was consistent for a year (I went like 4-5 days a week) and was relatively in control of my eating. Then I graduated high school went to university and the dining hall became my new personal hell. I binged so much. From going to fully controlled eating to having an all you can eat unlimited access dining hall it was bad. I gained all the weight I worked off and more. I also had terrible mental health in university and could hardly get myself to class most of the time even though I lived on campus. I stopped going to the gym and started to eat my feelings. Finally I moved out and now I control everything. I mean control in the sense that I could control what I do and eat. I am in a much healthier head space, I live alone, and I can buy whatever I want food wise. I have a very small gym in my building that has only the essentials like a treadmill, stationary bike, dumbells, and one of those rope/pullup combo machines. Not a lot but definitely enough. New years is around the corner and I would love to finally like my body and how I look. I still hate my body, especially since I am the biggest I have been ever but I wouldn't say I am by any means obese if that word is the technical way to say it? I haven't weighed myself in years because of all of these disordered habits but I am not necessarily looking for scale changes more visual changes. I want my highschool clothes to fit again, I want to feel comfortable or dare I say confident in a bikini. I want to feel healthier and stronger and not hate myself when I pass a mirror. I am 170cm and I would make a guess of 70-75kg. I understand that is not a "bad" weight but to me the mental toll my body has on my hurts.

So I guess I am asking for advice on how to lose it given all my "circumstances". Like I want to approach it in a safe way and I have a goal that by summer I like how I look. I don't need to love it yet because I understand 6 months is not a perfect timeline but I would like to just feel more comfortable with my appearance. The holidays will include lots of sweets and I will not avoid them then but I can certainly start with the movement and healthy eating alongside seasonal treats. Then in January I am hoping to actually begin a full lock in. I don't know if anything I said really makes sense so ask questions if you have any but just any advice would be appreciated. I understand disordered habits are extremely common nowadays with social media so I am hoping to get advice maybe even from people who have overcome this themselves? Thanks!
