Advice for All Rounders and Not Getting Decimated by Mages/Attacker

Looking for advice and tips on playing these scrappy, in your face mons, in an all rounder dominated Meta.

My issue is, whenever I play all rounders, there ALWAYS seems to be an amazing mage/attacker on the other team, who just melts me every fight.

Cinderace comes to mind immediately, Venasaur, Espeon, you name it.

Now, I understand the general idea. Don't run in front of them, move in on their cooldowns, blah blah blah.

But lately it's not working. I'm either staying out of fights to much, waiting for my moment, and not dealing enough damage throughout the game, or I run in to quick and get melted again.

Any advice I'd really appreciate.

For context, I'm currently around 1540-1560 ELO and the enemy teams feel a lot more coordinated. It's not just mages melting me, its mages dancing behind an amazing Suicune melting me.

My usually all rnders are Metagross, Epoleon, Charizard, Garry, and Machamp.
