Athletes foot or something else?

Hi all! I (M31) have started wearing safety boots at work. I am 5'9" tall and weigh approximately 17st. I regularly take omeprazol and sertraline. I smoke a vape.

Since I started wearing the boots I noticed this between my smallest and second smallest toe. I only noticed yesterday it yesterday. I haven't previously had anything like this. My dad had diabetes and my mum high blood pressure. Aside from that nothing else.
