Someone started publishing under the same pen name I have been using and I think they got me perma-banned from Instagram. What can I do?

Hello everyone!

I have been permanently banned from Instagram and Threads under my pen name, citing account integrity. Since I don't use bots and don't scam people, the only option is impersonation.

It took me a while to find, but someone published a book less than a week ago under the same pen name I've been using. This is a bummer, but people have the same name, it happens. But I think they reported me for impersonating them, which is just... not cool.

I don't see who else could have reported me, which is kind of rich, seeing as I've been using the name longer.

Is there anything I can do about this? They are of course free to continue using that name, I don't have a monopoly, but this is negatively effecting me and making things weird.

I sent them an email through their (newly established) contact form and the publishing company in their email signature does not exist, neither does the address listed.
