Help needed to disable mail, messages

Can we disable syncing the messages and the mail from my iPhone to my Apple Watch. I only care about alarms, music, and health.
All the other features are just a waste of battery. I have disabled notification but don’t know if it possible to stop the syncing. iOS / watch os 26
