Micro stutters

So I’ve been real into Arc Raiders and for some reason when I’m playing it and some other games I just get a bunch of micro stutters. I’m not super technology oriented so I am not certain where to start at fixing it but my first thought was my ram. When it was installed it looks like it was installed in the 1st and 2nd slot but from the research I’ve done it should be 2 and 4. Is it a possibility that this could be the issue? How big of a difference does that make?
