If you’ve done both, what is harder: caring for a child or caring for a DIFFICULT cockatoo?

My partner and I don’t have kids, but have been caring for a difficult cockatoo for around a year now. He’s a 30ish year old Goffin with aggression and screaming issues. We’re his fourth home and he was in a rescue for over a year. I’ve never wanted kids, but on difficult days I think I’d gladly trade him for a screaming baby, a toddler with a chainsaw, or a teenager that makes voodoo dolls of me.
