Upgrade from Wave XLR to Stream+ with XLR dock

Hello

I am at the moment using the Wave Elgato XLR with my Rode Podmic and the Stream Deck XL.

I wanna get the Stream+ but can't find out if i should get the XLR dock with it and then sell the Wave Elgato XLR unit.

I am using it for streaming on OBS on Twitch.

Will the preamp and sound be better with the Wave Elgato XLR or will the XLR dock be the same?
