I moved into a house with a narrow kitchen.

Fortunately, we don’t have an issue with storage. The solid white door goes to the basement, and at the bottom of the steps are large shelves with small kitchen appliances and extra supplies that we don’t need daily.

We do NOT need a breakfast nook. The dining room is attached to the kitchen and we prefer to eat in there.

What we are looking for:
- Wall paint color. If it helps, our living room is Sumptuous Sage (Valspar) and our hallways are Dulce De Leche (Valspar). We are still figuring out what to do with dining room paint, it’s a tan color but we aren’t keeping it like that. Accent colors in other rooms are mustard, rust, and terracotta. Our bathroom is the original 1948 peach and burgundy tiled bathroom.
- Kitchen cabinet color
- What to do with the weird corner by the window
- Flooring ideas
- Light fixtures
- Cabinet hardware

Additional info:
- Residents include 2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby on the way
- Current floor is covering asbestos flooring
- We don’t want to keep the table; it’s just a catchall area right now
- A coffee/tea are may be useful
- There is no outlet over the desk/drawer thing, and we can’t have one put in without tearing into the wall. We already had an electrician look into this and it would be much more difficult than simply adding an outlet.
- We are not removing the radiator as it provides a significant amount of heat to the kitchen
- Window above sink faces 47°NE
- Window above table faces 140°SE
- The cabinets used to be beautiful natural wood according to old Zillow pictures, but the previous owners slapped on one shitty coat of white paint when selling. It looks poorly done.

Budget: $3k

Please let me know if you have questions. Thank you SO MUCH for helping! We really appreciate it!
