Different Experiences vs Travel Time

I've lived here nearly three years now, and I am now starting to get a steady stream of visitors, which is awesome.

But it forces me into a quandry. How do I balance the natural desire to see lots of different stuff vs. enduring long drives?

I live near Rincon de la Vieja. If my friends come and we do that and some other activities nearby, that will be awesome. But then they may want to do something different, so we'll have to drive six or more hours and then be at a different national park. That park may have more birds, or better waterfalls, or whatever, but is it really that different? Is it worth all the time in the car and renting an AirBnB, etc.?

Costa Rica is Costa Rica. There are degrees of awesomeness, but it's all awesome. There is so much beauty and wildlife and waterfalls everywhere, is it really worth driving to see a different version of the same sloth tour?

There's no perfect answer here, but any guidance is welcome.
