Mototec Mud Kids 48v Go Kart

Does anyone know if the battery comes off the kart easily to charge indoors? We would store the kart itself in a shed and I’m thinking the battery will die quickly if we leave it out in the cold too much. (Live in the NE) Otherwise this thing looks awesome!
