Heart palpitations

Recently quit cold turkey now for a week after 6, 6mg/day. Last week has been odd. Started having weird heart palpitations. Has anyone experienced this? Don’t miss the nicotine, catch myself every once in a while wanting one but more concerned about the heart palpitations.
