did i toast my save file for online?

hi all, fairly new player here.

im around level 215 and my main is at +24. i didnt realize that there were coop/multiplayer caps, so to speak. these days, i barely get summons and multiplayer functionality (asides seeing bloodstains and messages).

did i toast this save file by leveling up too much and, if so, whats the recommended level/upgrade stops to make the most of online playing? i play on PC btw.
