Apeks WSX-25 (or 45) Sidemount Harness

Does anybody have any experience with the Apeks WSX-25 or 45 sidemount harness and can share their experience with them? I’m planning to get into sidemount this year. I’ll probably dive it in pretty much any configuration (3mm / 7mm / drysuit + AL80s / HP100s).

• Is there any particular unique configuration to your setup to address any particular issues? For example, I’ve heard the bladder “beach balling” when fully inflated at depth can be an issue.

• How would you compare it to other rigs like XDeep / Razor / Dive Rite / etc? From what I’ve read it’s most similar to the minimalistic designs of the XDeep / Razor.

• How do you feel about the sliding d-rings? I’ve heard it can be a very love or hate relationship.

I have a chance to buy a (supposedly) unused Apeks WSX-45 for $350. If I were to buy something new I’d probably go with the XDeep Stealth Tec since that’s much more common. There’s not too many reviews / documentation on the Apeks harness, so figured I’d start my own thread trying to get some user feedback.
