What could I include in care packages for people in need?

Hiya!

I’m wanting to create small packages of necessities for people. However, I have no idea what to include/not include. I’m blessed to finally have a secure job so I kinda want to put it to use this Christmas.

I’m thinking to include things like toothbrushes, toothpaste, gloves, hats, socks, wipes, deodorant, lotion, body wipes, hairbrush/combs, thermal clothing, pyjamas, coat, tinned food (and other shelf life items), forks, spoons and paper plates that are microwave-safe.

What should I not include/definitely include? I don’t have tons of money but I want to help the best I can. Thanks in advance
