Gold if money collapses

Are rich people retarded? Why would gold if money collapses be worth shit on the simple level since it is inherently pretty much near entirely worthless. Past the fact that it was here before money and started it, it is a shoddy almost equally worthless belief system. Think about it this way, if money were to collapse that's because the average person woke up to the made up bullshit though I don't think that will ever happen because money is still king but I still think it's worth raising my point to the sub
