Healthcare/Patient Related Volunteering

hi! I’ve been on the hunt for a while for a healthcare related volunteer opp where I can assist patients. I was out of the country for children’s natl. interviews (ugh!), and am awaiting a volunteer interview for a hospice care center — but do any of you do anything similar that you enjoy? Patient navigation, Medicaid/insurance navigation assistance, etc.

I inquired with Howard hospital, but didn’t hear back.
