Religio Romana Symbol

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me understand this symbol. Whenever I search for a Religio Romana symbol, this is what I get. It appears more Norse or Runic than Roman or Latin to me, but I’m not an expert, so I could be mistaken. Does anyone know the history of this symbol? Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
