Chun li Pad vs Hitbox

Hello everybody, I just started playing the game two or three days ago.

I play with chun li and so far I manage to get most of her movement, but I struggle with charge mouvement like spinning bird kick and kikoken, and it's impossible for me to hit someone with those move on rank (im silver 1).

I feel like im using only 20% of her capability. I play on a ps5 controller, and I heard that hit box are great for charge move. So should I go on Hit box or is it possible to be a verry good chun li main on ps5 controller ?
