TLDR @ end

So, earlier I got back from both UPS and the local mall. I stopped at the local mall to smell the real things first. Here's my personal review of my newest pickups.

🟢 Zimaya Mazaaj Rhythm - I'll start with this because I actually got this in on Thursday. So, this is another clone of LV Symphony. I found out about this from Aromatix Neeb. Per usual, he hyped the dog shit out of it. I didn't know anyone with it and I didn't see any reviews other than his, so I went into it with lower expectations because he overhypes every gotdamn thing. Before I continue I need to let y'all know that I HAVE NEVER SMELLED THE REAL LV SYMPHONY!!!!! 2 weeks ago I went to my local LV store inside of Saks Fifth and they don't carry Symphony, or any of the bottles with the fancy tops. They only carry the "regular" LV fragrances. I did get my nose on Fleur du Désert🤤🤤. That's another story for another day. Anyway, I only know I like this DNA because my buddy has Khadlaj Island Dreams and I liked that. However, I have a grudge against Khadlaj after a bad first impression/introduction to the company with that weak ass regular Khadlaj Island😒. So instead of copping that, I went with Zimaya instead because I'm also a huge fan of Afnan (Zimaya's parent company).

As you can see from the pics, the production date is last month. I fully expect this to mature and intensify, especially before the summer. With that being said, this shit is KICKING right from the first spray. Really good projection and longevity. I haven't worn it out yet so I can't tell you how far out it's projecting, but I will say when I sprayed my wrist, I never stopped getting whiffs of it whenever I moved my arm. As far as longevity, the smell is still very noticeable on my tester strip that I sprayed 4 days ago. As far as my wrist I sprayed, I was able to smell it at least 8hrs later. Not for nothing, my buddy sprayed his Khadlaj Dreams on a tester strip for me like 2 weeks ago, and that shit is still noticeably there. It's in my tool box at work and when I open the tool box, that's what I smell. That's what made me want the DNA for myself. I don't know which one is better between this and Khadlaj Island Dreams, I just know this will be a 🔥🔥🔥 summer fragrance.

Man, this is a whole lotta talking before I get to the actual review lol. Ummm...decent atomizer. I will say this, as much as I love this DNA, holy hell is this probably the most feminine fragrance I now own😅. This shit is SUPER unisex. But yea, full blast of grapefruit in the opening. I actually don't have much else because I haven't worn it out yet lol.

🔵 Rayhaan Aquatica - So last year I smelled both Virgin Island Water and Silver Mountain Water at the same time. I vividly remember liking both of them. I went on to get CDN Sillage (which I love). I never got a VIW clone, so I bought Aquatica because I remember liking the real thing. Well once I picked my fragrances up from UPS this morning, I headed to the local mall and I stepped into Saks Fifth. That tester strip on the box, that's the real deal Creed Virgin Island Water. Yo...that shit is weak as hell 😅😅😅. Either my memory failed me or my nose matured since last year. The shit real life smells like a bathroom. The reason this Aquatica box isn't open is because I don't know if I want to keep this shit yet. I might return it because if the real thing ain't doing shit for me, I probably won't like the clone either🤷🏽‍♂️. And I just smelled the tester strip again. Nope, I'm not keeping it. It doesn't stink or anything, it's just not something I'll see myself reaching for in the summer. I have dozens of other summer scents better than this. Damn, that's a shame because I was really excited about this one and I heard a lot of good things about it.

EDIT: I smelled the tester strip again after writing the Obsidian review and this shit is fading fast. Like I barely smell it.

⚫ Rayhaan Obsidian - This the one everyone's been raving about, huh? Well, let's see what all the fuss is about. I love blind buying fragrances so I was excited about getting this. However, while I was in the mall this morning, I skipped on down to Sephora and got a tester strip of DHP. Man, what an amazing smelling fragrance! Now I was excited so I shot home. I walked in the house and ripped it out the package. I first filled up a 5ml decant, then I sprayed the inside of my forearm. Alcohol blast immediately🤮. No worries, this bottle was also made last month (pictured) so I know that opening is only temporary. Once that dry down hit though...holy hell😳. It's been a couple hours since I sprayed it and it is STILL punching off my arm like crazy. After that harsh opening that only lasted like 3min, it's pretty dead on with what's on the tester strip.

Good atomizer. I don't know the difference between DHP 2014 and DHP 2025 so I can't speak on this. Many people say it's cloning 2025 so let's go with that. I'm assuming that's iris that I'm smelling. It's the only note I can identify. This stuff smells excellent and it's STRONG. I KNOW this will be a huge compliment puller. I'll have a better review in a couple months.

🟢 Zimaya Mazaaj Rhythm (LV Symphony Clone)

-I’ve never smelled the real LV Symphony, but I already liked this DNA from smelling Khadlaj Island Dreams.

-My bottle was produced this month, so it’ll only get stronger over time.

-Projection and longevity are already impressive (8+ hrs on skin, days on paper).

-It’s probably the most feminine-leaning fragrance I own — super unisex.

-Opens with a big blast of grapefruit.

-Overall: Fire summer scent and I’m excited to wear it outside.

🔵 Rayhaan Aquatica (Virgin Island Water Clone)

-Smelled the real Virgin Island Water this morning and it was weak and smells like a bathroom.

-Because the real thing didn’t impress me, I lost interest in the clone.

-I decided I’m not keeping it because I won’t reach for it over my other summer scents.

-The tester strip faded super fast.

-Overall: Easy pass.

⚫ Rayhaan Obsidian (Dior Homme Parfum Inspired)

-I tested the real Dior Homme Parfum at Sephora and loved it.

-When I got home, the first spray from Obsidian had a heavy alcohol blast (new bottle issues).

-Once it dried down, it hit hard — still projecting crazy strong after an hour.

-Overall: Lives up to the hype and I’m really impressed with the performance.
