im a new survivor player. this game is miserable

genuinely how do new players survive this game? ive been playing for 2 days - 6 hours in total and every game ive been tunnelled and chased, first to go because they’ve sensed i was the weakest link. i genuinely think ive only won 6 games. is this normal for a game to be so unbalanced and killer sided? ive watched YouTube tutorials and been practicing with 1v1s and its just not fun!!!!
