Townhouse investment
I bought a townhouse last year in June and was hoping to make a profit or equity from it but when I asked for market value of my home I was sad to see that I would be losing 39K including realtor fees. My monthly mortgage is only 1.3K because I split with a roommate but I am wondering if this is even considered a good investment and I should hold off on selling until it appreciates again? Or am I looking at a loss the longer I wait? I purchased my house at 480K and the market value currently is 464K - 21K in realtor fees so I would only be making 443K if I was to sell now. I’m not in a rush to sell as I make a lot per month but I’m not sure of this is considered a good investment and to just hold off for now until I build some equity or profit off of it.
