Hiring - Sr. Network Engineer/Architect

Looking for a seasoned Sr. Network Engineer to help with our current project workload, which is quickly exceeding our ability to keep up. We are a small networking/infrastructure only "MSP" (no end user/workstation support). This would ideally be 1099/consulting contract to start, with the possibility of converting into a full time role.

We are looking for someone with deep networking/infrastructure experience, including:

  • Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, Prisma Access, etc.
  • Aruba switching, wireless (AOS CX, Central)
  • Aruba/SilverPeak SDWAN (EdgeConnect)
  • .1x experience (ClearPass, Mist)
  • Juniper Mist Wireless
  • Juniper Route/Switch
  • Cisco Route/Switch
  • General cloud/infra familiarity (Azure, AWS, VMware, Nutanix, etc.)

Ideally this is someone with CCIE-level knowledge, but I'm not hung up on the cert provided you can demonstrate proficiency.

I realize that's a long wish list, but the more of these, the better. As an example of some of the projects we have in the pipeline right now:

  • SilverPeak SDWAN Deployment
  • Nexus VXLAN EVPN multisite
  • AOS CX Campus refresh with VXLAN

This will be a remote position, East Coast US is preferred but not required.

We are really looking for someone who is capable of self managing given a good set of project specifications, keeps good documentation, communicates well with customers, and is a good team player.

Please DM resume to me, along with any relevant project experience, and if so inclined a story about your biggest F-up and how you fixed it :)
