AITAH for giving feedback?
At work, we were specifically asked about our opinion for supervisor candidates in a meeting. I endorsed a particular candidate but also agreed with something specific someone else mentioned about them. I also provided an example of it.
After everyone was done, it was clear the manager thought maybe I didnt like the person because I had said something "bad" about them. I then stated I was just providing feedback, not trying to be negative.
Why ask for others opinions if you dont want to hear good and bad opinions? I dont feel i was being harsh at all in my assessment, it was actually an issue I had bitten my tongue about for awhile. I wasn't unprofessional.
AITAH for giving an opinion? Should I have just stayed silent?
