I don't want to

Moods

I'm in the throes of menopause. On HRT which helped at the beginning but seems to not be now. The biggest issue that I am dealing with is that I just don't want to. I don't want to exercise. I don't want to eat "right". I don't want to go to bed early. I don't want to go to the grocery store. I don't want to cook. I don't want to pre-plan meals and prep at the weekend for the week ahead.

I don't really understand what's going on. I am angry most of the time. I'm just angry that I (the person that has taken care of a marriage, house, pets, farm, job for 32 years and a child for 21 years) now has to do one more thing. I am angry that I have to take care of myself. I am angry that it's something else I have to worry about and plan for. I am angry that the weight loss methods that used to work simply don't anymore. I'm angry that I have no willpower. I'm angry that I keep forgetting the names of things and sound like English is my second language half the time (it isn't) because I have to describe things instead of naming them. I'm angry that I can't get any work done because I have no concentration.

I have done the boring things and all my bloodwork is normal. Tried to talk to a therapist who just wanted to put me on GLP-1 medication. If one more medical professional tells me to try the Mediterranean diet I will very likely punch them in the throat.

I just don't want to. So what do I do now?
