true romantic

i realized a lot of people, anyone really, can get into a relationship, but not often and pretty rarely is someone romantic. some definitely have the potential, but they fail to pull it off completely cuz you can tell it's not what they've really been seeking; they're after something else. i see glimpses of it rarely. it makes sense since this world is difficult, so why would anyone's priority be something that elusive, even frivolous or selfish-seeming? there are so many other things to focus on. i understand that it's too much to ask for. it's unhealthy even because your soul's expression may be stopped short. but what if my soul's expression is romantic? is that a lie i told myself or someone told me before i could remember? well anyways true romantic or not, no more. life at the end of the day is bizarre.
