Built a Chicago Marathon site from my 2024 notes. Would love feedback.

Hey all. I ran Chicago in 2024 and turned my training notes into a simple site called chi.run. It pulls together an overview of the course, GPS/gear issues, weather history, spectator routes, and a bunch of Chicago-specific details.

A lot of what’s on the site comes straight from this subreddit. I’ve been lurking here for years, and the advice, threads, and race reports helped shape half the pages on it.

It’s still a work in progress, and I’m training again for 2026, so I’m updating it as I go. Not selling anything, just sharing a project I’ve been working on. There’s an optional email signup if you want updates.

If you check it out, I’d love any feedback on what’s helpful, what’s missing, or what I should add next.
