Wave XLR w/ Steel Series Arctis Nova Pro (wired) and GameDAC

I’m currently upgrading my microphone situation from using the built in Nova Pro microphone to an external XLR microphone. I would like to continue to have the benefits of the GameDAC for EQ adjustments with the headphones, but use the Wave XLR for a microphone as well as to monitor my own voice playback.

Is this even possible without plugging the headphones directly into the Wave XLR?

I don’t use Sonar for any EQ adjustments, but I do keep it enabled to get the 96KHz/24-bit audio option on my PC. I may consider disabling Sonar though as Windows defaults to the Sonar/headphone microphone every time I restart my computer.

Would love to hear any and all suggestions on how to make this setup work the most efficient and sound the best!
