Using WS cash card on Disneyland app?

Has anyone used the WS cash card to buy food etc on the Disneyland app while in the park? Just planning out our trip and thinking about getting this card to save on the fx fees.

Also, does WS text codes for confirmation while using the card in the USA? I'll have my phone but will be using US som card so won't have my phone number while I'm down there.

Thanks
