Question about fiktionalbescheinigung

So I have applied for my stufent residence permit (first time applicant)... there is a stupid 12 week wait for the appointment, once that is done, another 2-3 weeks to get your card mailed to you. My question is, can you get fiktionalbescheinigung while waiting for residence card to be mailed (so after appointment where everything is approved essentially, and just a waiting time for the card)

Also I take it I can't just get one generally while i wait as a first time applicant, I'm pretty sure on this. Just very frustrating as I applied in mid October and I'm just not allowed to leave the damn country till like February or March (with christmas break factored in)!? I have travel plans then ffs, just ridiculous 😑.
