my last flicker of hope was snuffed out

had a drs appt today that went poorly and i have no hope left. i suffer from chronic pain and mental illness and was denied a pain treatment bc it ***might *** hurt my mental health.

i am in so much pain every day

i can’t do this anymore

and then family say: “well maybe if you start working on your mental health more seriously and consistently, you’ll be cleared for next time”

here’s the kicker. there will be no “next time”. i’m too sick. period. and they refuse to treat me at all.
