Charging using Type C

Will my Lenovo Legion 5 work with a 65W USB-C charging brick? And using a 65W (or higher) brick won't damage it, right? Or should I stick with the original charger they provided.

Also, if I'm charging through USB-C, is it okay to game or will it throttle?

Asking since itd be nice to reduce the weight of my backpack by just replacing the heavy charger with a small charging brick.
