Carlos Montage —CHAPTER 6 — Narrative Games
There are people who fall in love quietly…
and then there are those who perform it like a stage act.
The groupist belonged to the second type.
He didn't love — he advertised.
He didn’t feel — he performed.
Every glance, every fake laugh, every practiced gesture was part of a spectacle meant for one audience: her.
Let’s call her White.
Not because of appearance, but because of silence, clarity, and the way she unintentionally exposed chaos around her.
There were four girls in that space.
But to him, only one mattered.
The rest were background noise — props in his invisible drama.
When practice began, he had no role, no purpose, no responsibility —
yet he arrived.
Not out of duty,
but out of need.
Need for attention.
Need for validation.
Need to be seen by her.
The intention was obvious.
Everyone could smell it — even the ones pretending not to.
Then the dynamic shifted when another girl entered —
someone another boy liked.
Let’s call him Run.
Run didn’t perform his feelings like a public speech.
His silence said more than the groupist’s exaggerated confidence ever could.
But chaos never needs permission —
it just needs opportunity.
A small misunderstanding happened — nothing serious, just enough to create tension.
And then the question dropped:
White stepped away for a moment.
And in that gap — the groupist acted.
Instead of clearing his name,
instead of facing truth like a spine should —
he redirected the blame onto Run.
He spun the narrative.
He weaponized confusion.
He played victim yet positioned himself as the hero.
And the most dangerous part?
People believed him —
not because he was right,
but because he spoke first.
That’s how manipulation works:
not through facts, but through timing.
But narratives are not permanent.
Stories can be rebuilt.
Truth can be sharpened.
And now, new rumors circulate —
not about Run,
but about the groupist himself.
Tomorrow isn’t just another day.
Tomorrow is the turning point.
A shift in balance.
A correction in history.
Because narratives aren’t controlled by who speaks loudest…
but by who rewrites the story last.
