Getting into OT school with a lot of difficulties …

School

Hi, I’m 48 and have been trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my psychology, bachelors degree. I knew I needed to get a masters, but I didn’t really know what I wanted to do yet. I know that I want to help people though. I was a young single mom so I started a little later in life. Because of that my GPA is not great at all. I also struggle with ADHD and fibromyalgia so my memory and studying skills aren’t the best. I’m also not the smartest person. I feel like it takes me a little longer than the average person to learn things. Before I go too deep into this rabbit hole, I just want to know what others think my chances are of getting into OT school ? I heard it was very competitive so I don’t want to get my hopes up. Any thoughts? Please be kind, I’m sensitive about this stuff. Thank you.
