[M4F] 34 - After months of work travel I'm back in NYC. Help me unwind and avoid burnout? - Session: 0568022d8c34a0d556c32d51a7c4d8788883713a10e399a401549ab243d2479c1b

Once upon a time, I was hopeful. "Surely," I foolishly thought, "Surely after grad school my life will settle into a comfortable (but not too comfortable, of course) routine. There will be work, leisure, friends, drinking, sex, travel. Possibly not in that order." You know, the things people like to do with their lives.

Alas, my life hasn't turned out that way. I went back to grad school for a second Masters after shifting careers. I work 14 hour days on nightmarish work projects. I'm traveling constantly, spending more time in hotels in the past six months than I have in my own home.

Of course, you might be thinking that what little free time I have would be spent relaxing. You'd be wrong. I run marathons and spend what little leisure time I have tinkering with ice cream recipes, convincing myself that I'll be satisfied with them one day.

But hopefully you can help me slow down a bit, unwind, take a step back. Surely.
