Heavily inspired by {The Marquess Wins a Wife by Aydra Richards}. The MMC gets married to the FMC for reasons (FMC shoots him) and he’s like we can have an agreeable marriage without love. He stays away in the evenings and never goes to events with her and basically asks her to pick one event that they’ll attend together. She doesn’t ever pick the event because she feels he’ll never love her and becomes very distant. (Both emotionally and physically, she’s away all the time and doesn’t want anything to do with him). The MMC is very hurt and desperate to make up with her.
