Help finding an anime I watched

They had magic powers or something similar to that. it's in a highschool setting, male mc.
one of the key things i remember is mc fighting a female villain trying to revive her dead brother, then one scene she kisses the male mc infront of his female friend/love interest, which i think dies, then she turns out to be some familiar, it had a piece of paper.

if it helps, there was this one weird scene where the mc was talking to another familiar in his room, curious about her ears and stuff, then the familiar being clueless ALMOST pulls her pants down before other people enter and had the wrong idea

i remember being frustrated with the anime i stopped watching it but then i forgot the title so it'd be a great help if you guys can know what it is
