Trip in February

I’m planning a 7-day trip in mid-February. I’m thinking about spending one night in Leavenworth. Is it safe and drivable from Seattle to Leavenworth during that time of year? I’m also planning a day trip to Cannon Beach.

In between, I’d love some budget-friendly suggestions for places to visit, affordable places to stay, and unique souvenirs to buy.
