Summitra (scammed)

I want to preface this with I love Summitra, I order there all the time. Unfortunately, tonight we got scammed.

My friend and I split the bill down the middle with cash. We already accounted for the tip. A woman who was not our server picked up the check, which we didnt think anything of, but 10 minutes later came back and asked us if the service was good, which we replied yes of course. She then told us well we only left a $3 tip.

We were sure we did the math right (because i used the calculator for 20%) but asked for the check back and put another $20 in. At this point we started getting a weird feeling since we were positive we gave the right amount. This time we made sure our server picked up the bill.

Ive never experienced a server coming back and asking about a low tip, that should have been the red flag. I’m not sure if our server was in on it or if the girl who picked up our check was skimming but this is just a warning if youre paying with cash
