2.5 days in Florence - silly to book a full day trip for one of them?

Itinerary !!MUST PROVIDE TRAVEL DATES!!

In the early stages of booking a trip to Italy (Rome/Florence) over the first week of May. I’ll have 4 full, non travel days in Rome and 2 full, non travel days in Florence.

I’ll take the train from Rome and get into Florence early afternoon so the half day is just getting acclimated to the area. Is it silly to only leave essentially 1 full day to the city? Uffizi, Piazza del Duomo, Accademia are the plans for the full day. Day trip is to Siena/San Gimi/Winery for lunch.

Is this a silly plan - leaving too little time in Florence? The 4 days in Rome are just about booked up and will need at least 3 days to see what I want there. I can cut a day short but I know Rome you can spend a lifetime….
