Chest tube

Hey I was just wondering if anyone has gone in for a collapse and get the small chest tube and has left the hospital within a few days I came in on Monday morning been with a tube for a full day and gonna be tonight said they are gonna clamp it tomorrow to see where it goes but has anyone been in a similar position and has left the same week
